Join us at CalvART Gallery for an evening reception for Artist Izzi Baden. Her show, “Dimensions”, features a wide variety of her work. Izzi works in mixed media, bringing a variety of elements into her pieces–from pen & ink, to acrylic, to fabric and more! The July 27th evening reception is a come & go event where attendees have the chance to meet Izzi, hear about her work and enjoy a mix & mingle environment at the CalvART Gallery.

This is a family-friendly, fun-filled EVENING race through Jefferson Patterson Park followed by a finish-line festival that includes music, food trucks, and fun activities for the whole family. Giving The race beneficiaries are Project ECHO and the Friends of Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum. Project ECHO provides hope for the homeless, with emergency shelter and supportive housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Calvert County. Rhythm of Life: Drum Circle Support Group is a free group for kids and teens ages 6 to 18. They can connect with one another through creative expression and the healing power of drumming. Drumming has been shown to produce relief from symptoms that accompany grief and loss, improve physical wellbeing, help to process and regulate emotions, and it’s fun! The group will meet from 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, July 16, Aug. 20 and Sept. 17 at the Burnett Center for Hope & Healing, 4559 Sixes Road, Prince Frederick, Maryland.
