 The ability to create and maintain a network of contacts is vital to every business. Belonging to the Chamber of Commerce offers you several opportunities for involvement. There are networking opportunities scheduled each month at our Business After Hours (BAH) and we have several Annual Events scheduled throughout the year.

 The Chamber is an alliance of over 500 members and over 700 representatives working together to develop a productive climate in Calvert County in which to conduct business. The Chamber enables its members to accomplish collectively what no one could do individually!

                                              Calvert County Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards
Recognizing excellence is good for members, good for business and good for the community.  You can nominate an outstanding individual or business for recognition of excellence in performance in one of our four categories:  Small Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Chamber Member of the Year or Home-Based Business of the Year.

Nomination forms and criteria for awards can be obtained at the Chamber office or see the flyer insert in the Navigator during the months of June, July and August.

Note:  the person making the nomination will complete the nomination form no later than August 27, 2010.  You may nominate yourself or your business.  Previous award winners are not eligible in the same category in which they previously won until after a period of five years.  Members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce are not eligible for nomination.  Only one nomination for any award to the same individual/business will be considered.  Nominees will be notified of their nomination.

Winners will be announced at the Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner in October!
