Stella’s Girls, Inc. is a Maryland-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2016 that educates and empowers youth—especially girls and young women—to become confident leaders and social change agents. We deliver free, culturally responsive mentoring, leadership development, STEM/coding education, and trauma-informed support that helps young people build skills, resilience, and a clear pathway to graduation, college, and career success.
Serving communities across Southern Maryland (including Charles, St. Mary’s, Calvert, and Frederick counties) and partner sites in Africa, our programs combine 1:1 mentorship, advocacy, social-emotional learning, and workforce readiness. Through initiatives like Leaders Who Code, the Sunflower Project, and Journey to Manhood, we work alongside families, schools, and community partners to expand opportunity, strengthen youth voice, and advance equity—locally and globally.
