Supporting the Park and Appreciating the Gift
Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum was gifted to the State of Maryland by the Patterson Family in 1983. This beautiful 560-acre park is along the Patuxent River and has so much to offer, from walking paths to history; there is something here for everyone.
The Friends came along shortly afterward and have been working to support the park. Ever since we do what we can to help; from grants to volunteering to fundraising, being a friend means loving the park and letting it show!
