The Calvert Concept Charitable Corporation (C4) is an independent, nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to transforming social injustice into financial stability through the equity of home or business ownership.   It is intended to help public servants, decedents of enslaved people of our County and, similarly situated Native Americans, as well as  seniors who have lost their retirement in service to others.   Clients are chosen by a widely diverse, community based selection committee and then participate in a program of financial empowerment that includes savings-matching, assistance with housing issues, education, training, job and social services resources and partnerships with financial and businesses experts.  Individuals select home or business ownership as their personal objective and C4 facilitates their attainment of that objective.
