Join us for a hands-on community workshop as part of the North Beach Sculpture Project on April 27 from 1pm – 3pm at the Twin Beaches Library in North Beach (Meeting Room West).
The North Beach Sculpture Project is a collaborative initiative focused on cancer awareness and honoring those personally affected by cancer.
Participants will help create beautiful mosaic flowers using a variety of yellow and pink glass pieces that will later be incorporated into the final sculpture. Glass pieces will be pre-cut, though some additional shaping with nippers may be needed, and the library’s team of artists will be on hand to guide you every step of the way. Each design will be arranged on contact paper to hold your mosaic securely in place.
This workshop is open to seniors, adults, and teens, and we welcome children in grades 2-5 when accompanied by an adult. There is no cost to participate, but advanced RSVPs are required. Please note that drop-ins for this event will not be accepted.
