Class Description: Experience the transformative power of intentional sound and the healing vibration generated in a group. Join instructor Jo’e Simons for an immersive, hands-on sound healing circle designed to ground your energy, release tension, and connect you with the collective rhythm of a group.
What to Expect:
Explore & Play (First 30 Minutes): No musical background required! You will have the unique opportunity to interact with a collection of sacred sound healing instruments. Try your hand with an authentic Tibetan singing bowl, tingsha chimes, a traditional Tibetan bell, frame drum, harmony balls, various shakers and more.
The Healing Circle: After exploring the instruments, participants will choose an instrument with which to create a unified sound circle. Individuals will have the opportunity to sit in the center of the circle for about 5 minutes each to become the dedicated receiver of the group’s collective healing sound waves and energies. During your time in the center, Jo’e will also introduce the targeted, resonant frequencies of specialized tuning forks to deepen your experience. (Note: Tuning forks are not part of the shared instrument collection.)
What to Bring:
Instruments: You are highly encouraged to bring your own sound healing tools to contribute to the collective resonance — for example: hand drums, djembes, dununs, or shakers.
Comfort Items: We will provide chairs and carpet squares. You are welcome to bring a back-jack, yoga mat, or small floor cushions, etc.
Come as you are, and leave bathed in harmony.
